Textomic is a handwriting recognition and note management application created to make note digitization simple and practical.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Textomic collects how that information is used where it is stored and the measures we take to protect it.

When you create and use a Textomic account we may collect information required to provide account functionality and maintain your account.

Account authentication and related account services may be provided through Firebase.

1.2 Uploaded Images

Textomic allows you to upload images for handwriting to text conversion.

When you upload an image for conversion:

• The image is processed by the AI model used for handwriting extraction
• The image is used only to provide the requested conversion
• The image is deleted immediately after processing
• We do not permanently store uploaded images

Uploaded images are therefore intended for temporary processing rather than permanent storage.

1.3 Usage Data

We may collect limited non personal usage and diagnostic information to understand how Textomic is being used and to improve application performance.

• Credit usage count
• Number of times text is scanned
• Features used and general usage activity
• Device information
• Error logs
• Application crash reports

Crash and diagnostic information may be processed through Firebase Crashlytics.

1.4 User Generated Content

Textomic may allow you to create notes documents or other study material.

Such content is processed only as necessary to provide the features you request.

2. How We Use Your Data

Information collected through Textomic may be used for the following purposes:

• Providing and improving the app
• Converting handwritten images into text
• Authenticating and securing your account
• Providing and restoring credits
• Maintaining account activity
• Personalizing relevant product features

3. Data Storage and Security

Account related information such as your email address credits and relevant account activity may be stored securely using Google Firebase services.

Uploaded images used for handwriting conversion are not permanently stored. They are processed for the requested conversion and deleted after processing.

We use appropriate security controls and Firebase security rules to help protect account related information from unauthorized access.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However no online service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

4. Third Party Services

Textomic may use trusted third party services to provide authentication data storage analytics crash reporting AI processing and advertising functionality.

4.1 Firebase Authentication

Firebase Authentication may be used to securely manage user authentication and account access.

4.2 Firebase Firestore

Firebase Firestore may be used to store account related information such as credits and relevant activity.

4.3 Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics may be used to collect crash reports and diagnostic information to help us identify and resolve application issues.

4.4 AI Model Services

Textomic may use AI model APIs or related processing services for handwriting extraction and text conversion.

When you request a handwriting conversion your uploaded image may be transmitted to the relevant processing service so that the requested conversion can be completed.

Uploaded images are intended for temporary processing and are not permanently stored by Textomic.

4.5 Advertising

Textomic may display advertisements through third party advertising providers such as Google AdMob or another advertising provider used by the app.

Depending on the advertising configuration and applicable settings advertising providers may process certain device or advertising related information to provide measure or personalize advertisements.

Third party services operate according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Depending on the features available in Textomic and applicable law you may have the ability to:

• Delete your account and associated information where applicable

Textomic is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
